Custom Gift Baskets Are The Perfect Solution For Giftaphobia

Years and years of coming up with unique ideas for gifts can create for many of us what is called giftaphobia.

(Now, this might not actually be a real phobia but I had fun creating it and it really is perfect for this discussion on custom gift baskets as you will soon find out.)

This condition is perhaps better known as the fear of having to pick out one more gift for that next person on your list with the additional fear that your recipient will either not like what you have picked out or heaven forbid will already have one or more of the exact same thing you have just given them.

Do You Believe You Suffer From Giftaphobia?

So, if giving gifts has become a dreaded chore or worse yet giftaphobia for you, it’s time to spice up your gift giving modus operandi with custom gift baskets. I’m telling you; it’s absolutely true. Custom gift baskets are the perfect solution to curing the doldrums of picking out the perfect present. And to top it off they are fun to create with very little extra time involved.

So, let’s take a look at some ways to add this unique gift idea to your gift giving arsenal. You as well as your future recipients will be glad you did.

Custom Gift Baskets Really Do Spice Up Your Gift Giving

First off, I have discovered that just about anything I purchase for a present is much more exciting and enjoyable when placed into a basket not only for the receiver but for me to give as well. There are so many creative things you can do with a custom gift basket that can’t be done with an ordinary gift.

In fact, one time I was giving ordinary, everyday kitchen utensils for a bridal shower and I took each one of the utensils and wrapped them separately in colorful dish clothes and hand towels.

And next, instead of using ribbon to tie each gift closed, I used colorful matching clips for baggies and refrigerator magnet clips that could be used later instead of being thrown away. I also stood the strainer up in the back of the basket and put flowers on it for further decoration.

The basket was also unique in it’s design so it would serve as a fancy fruit basket or even a bread basket for dinner parties at a future date. I also added a few luscious chocolate treats in between the wrapped utensils for fun surprises.

In other words, when creating my custom gift baskets, I look for ways to make the gift wrapping and container become part of the gift itself. This makes everything you include something useful, creative and even beautiful.

Custom Gift Baskets Are Not Only Creative But FUN!

With this thought in mind, it’s amazing how creative and fun putting a custom gift basket together can be for you as well as fun and exciting for the person opening this lovely and unusual present. I have even had times where the receiver asked me to tell them what was inside the basket because it looked so nice they didn’t want to open it.

What I’m trying to say is, don’t limit yourself to the ordinary concept of what makes a gift considered a gift basket. Be creative and actually once you start thinking this way, it won’t take anymore time to put your items together into a basket than it did when you just gave or sent an ordinary present.

Just Because Baskets

So, if your looking for something truly unique in the way of a present for anyone on your list, the ideas for custom gift baskets are endless and so much fun to plan and think about that you too will soon be looking forward to the next gift you need to send. Instead of a chore to cross off your list, you will see it as something to actually enjoy.

And believe it or not, you will even begin looking forward to the next opportunity you have for sending a gift. Doesn’t that sound much better than the other alternative of dreaded giftphobia?

I promise, you will never have to feel that fear again. In fact, when you prepare and give one of your own custom gift baskets, the joy of knowing you have pleased someone so completely is, as they say, priceless.
